What you’ll need:

Frozen Cucumbers, I used about 3-4 Persian cucumbers but one large English cucumber will work too

Silver Tequila, a good quality blanco tequila makes for the best margaritas! Some of my favorite brands include Casa Amigos, Jose Cuervo and Patron tequila.

Orange Liqueur, original margaritas always have a dash of orange liqueur added in, use any of the following, Grand Marnier, Cointreau or Triple Sec.

Agave, because this margarita focuses so heavily on spice and flavor it needs a little sweetness to balance out all the flavors and agave is the perfect natural sweetener to use in margaritas! You can also use sugar, honey or simple syrup!

jalapeño slices, because this margarita is made from cucumbers it tends to be a little bland on its own, I spice it up by adding in a couple of jalapeño slices to jazz it up a bit!

Freshly squeezed Lime Juice, this makes all the difference! Fresh Lime juice always results in the BEST margaritas ever!

for garnish, some Chile-Lime Salt, Cucumber Slices and Jalapeños Slices

How to make frozen cucumber margaritas?

To make this cocktail first and foremost you’ll need to freeze your cucumbers, this gives the margarita that frozen, slushy texture we are looking for without watering it down too much.

Next we’re going to blend up the frozen cucumbers, tequila, orange liqueur agave, lime juice and a couple of jalapeño slices in a blender until a frothy, slushy margarita cocktail is formed!

Run a lime wedge around the edge of your serving glasses, then dip it into the chile-lime salt until the rim is coated.

Immediately pour in the frozen cocktail into serving glasses that have been rimmed with salt, topped with optional garnishes and enjoy!
