It's National Pineapple Day!
Here is a pineapple cocktail with -- wait for it -- vodka! I am an easy sell on quality gins, but I am a tough customer when it comes to vodka, which I have historically associated with a flavorless spirit sneaked in to add abv and not much else.
Holystone Distilling won me over with their grape-derived Perla vodka, which is smooth and round and added something elegant to this mash-up of a Moscow Mule and a Jungle Bird.
Ingredients
2 oz @holystonedistilling Perla vodka
3/4 oz Campari
1 1/2 oz fresh pineapple juice
3/4 oz lime juice
2-3 oz ginger beer
dash blackstrap bitters
dash Elemakule bitters
pineapple frond, ginger, lime garnish

Shake vodka, Campari, pineapple juice, lime juice, and bitters with ice. Double strain over fresh ice and add ginger beer to top. Garnish.
