I shared a delicious citrus and hibiscus cocktail and mocktail recipe! I even made edible flower ice cubes to spruce the cocktail up!

The mocktail has blood orange juice, lemon juice and a homemade hibiscus and rose syrup made with hibiscus tea and rose petals! I added a splash of 21seeds Grapefruit and Hibiscus tequila, which is women owned and distilled, to the cocktail.

FOR THE FLORAL ICE CUBES
Ingredients

edible flowers
herbs (mint, rosemary, basil)
distilled water

FOR THE ROSE HIBISCUS SIMPLE SYRUP
Ingredients

1/3 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon hibiscus tea
2 tablespoons rose petals

FOR THE COCKTAIL
Ingredients

2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 ounces 21 Seed Hibiscus Grapefruit Tequila
1/4 cup rose hibiscus simple syrup
mint and flowers, for garnish
lemon peel, for garnish

Method

STEP 1
To make the floral ice cubes, add edible flowers and herbs to each compartment in a large ice cube tray. Fill the ice tray with distilled water and freeze overnight.

STEP 2
To make the rose hibiscus simple syrup, add water, sugar, hibiscus tea, and rose petals to a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Strain the syrup into a jar and set aside to cool completely.

STEP 3
For the cocktail, add floral ice cubes to 2 chilled glasses. Add ice to a cocktail shaker and add lemon juice, lime juice, and tequila. Cover and shake for 1 minute. Pour the mixture evenly into the two prepared glasses. Top each drink with soda water and add 2 tablespoons of the Rose Hibiscus simple syrup to each glass, or to your taste.
Garnish with a sprig of mint, edible flowers, and a lemon peel.
