 Shrimp in Cherry Tomato Spaghetti with Prosecco Spumante Brut

Ingredients (serving: 2)

 Olive Oil

Garlic, minced

Onions, minced

Sea salt


1/2 kg Shrimps, shelled and deveined

1 cup Sweet cherry tomatoes, blanched and cut into small pieces

Basil, chopped finely

Juice of 1 slice of lemon

zest of lemon

200 g of Spaghetti, cooked, drained and cooled

To cook:

Heat pan.
Cover the surface of the pan with olive oil.
Add garlic and onions. Sweat.
Add a pinch of sea salt and pepper.
Saute shrimps. Constantly roll on the pan until cooked.
Add the cherry tomatoes. Bring to a boil.
Top with basil.

Serve with pasta. Squeeze slice of lemon on top. Add zest of lemon. Garnish with basil. with a tall glass of chilled Prosecco Spumante Brut. Notice how the sweetness of the cherry tomatoes and zing of lemon complement the brut, that is, low sugar taste of the wine. Alcohol content: 11% vol.
