Zabaione: A Creamy Prosecco Dessert

A light and frothy dessert, made with prosecco and marsala. It's a quick and easy treat to serve right after dinner and can be paired with your favorite fruit.


egg yolks
tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup prosecco
tablespoon marsala

1. In a metal bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar.

2. Add the prosecco and marsala and continue to whisk.

3. Bring a pot of water to a boil.

4. When the water boils, turn the temp down to medium heat and place the metal bowl over the top of the pot.

5. Continue to whisk the egg mixture over the heat for about 15-20 minutes, until the mixture expands and becomes frothy.

6. Remove from heat and place in the refrigerator to cool.

7. Serve chilled. Pour into mini glasses and garnish with your favorite fresh fruit, such as blueberries, figs or strawberries.
