Another famous Prosecco cocktail, the Negroni Sbagliato (Italian for ‘wrong’ or ‘mistaken’ Negroni) is named after a happy mistake at Milan’s famous Bar Basso, when a cocktail waiter accidentally grabbed a bottle of Prosecco instead of a bottle of gin when making a Negroni for a customer.
Substituting Prosecco for gin makes this Negroni twist lighter and less alcoholic.
