Prosecco Negroni Sbagliato Cocktail

Another famous Prosecco cocktail, the Negroni Sbagliato (Italian for ‘wrong’ or ‘mistaken’ Negroni) is named after a happy mistake at Milan’s famous Bar Basso, when a cocktail waiter accidentally grabbed a bottle of Prosecco instead of a bottle of gin when making a Negroni for a customer.

Substituting Prosecco for gin makes this Negroni twist lighter and less alcoholic.

1 ounce Campari
1 ounce sweet vermouth
1 ounce chilled Prosecco
Lemon twist, for garnishing

Add the Campari, sweet vermouth, and Prosecco to a chilled highball glass. Add ice and stir gently.
2Garnish with the lemon twist and serve.
