Green Tea - Almond Smoothie

This green tea - almond smoothie recipe will energize you in an instant! 

A healthy blend of green tea, almond butter, blueberries and redcurrants all in one tasty sip.


1 green tea bag
200ml boiling water
2 tbsp Almond butter
150g blueberries and redcurrants
1 tsp ground flax seed
Honey or other natural sweetener to taste


1. Steep the teabag in the boiling water for 4 minutes, remove the bag and chill the tea. Make this ahead and keep in the fridge.

2. Put all the ingredients into a blender, liquidiser or nutribullet and blend till smooth. 
Drink immediately or chill for later.
