Summer Passion Cocktail

 I am sharing a port based cocktail using the delish Fonseca Siroco Dry White Port. It has tasting notes of ripe fruit, aging wood, and a crisp dry finish. This port has a crisp finish because it is fermented for longer than other styles of port before it is fortified. Now it’s time to Pop The Port and make the Passion Fruit Port Sour.

 I love how the tropical notes of the passion fruit combine with the fruit and dry notes of the white port rounding out a balanced cocktail just in time for spring.


1 ounce of Fonseca Siroco Port
1 ounce of gin
¾ ounce of lemon juice
¾ ounce of passion fruit syrup
1 egg white


Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker with ice
Shake then strain
Shake again without ice
Strain into coupe
Garnish with rosemary and edible flowers
